African plains game hunting safaris at Glen Harry Safaris

Trophy hunting is carried out on Glen Harry as part of a conservation management practice. A certain number of animals are allocated for hunting purposes each year. This list is not added to, but is based on creating sustainable populations of animals. The healthy conditions allow for animals to grow out to their full potential and many fine specimens have been taken on Glen Harry.

Glen Harry is a registered outfitter, and sportsmen are accompanied by a fully qualified and experienced resident professional hunter and tracker who assist in selecting the best possible trophy. They are well tuned into the animals and their habits and can add their experience to assist in a memorable sporting experience.

We conduct our hunting in line with the strictest code of ethics of fair chase and international hunting standards.

DAILY RATES INCLUDE:

• Services of a PH and his staff and hunting vehicle

• Accommodation in hunting area

• Food & drinks (bottled water, soft drinks, local beer and local wine)

• Field preparation of trophies, all hunting permits, laundry services

• Transport from PE Airport to and from Glen Harry

DAILY RATES EXCLUDE:

• Extra days spent hunting over and above as bought in a package

• All taxidermy charges, dipping, packing and shipping of trophies

• Telephone calls, personal extras, gratuities, extra excursions

• All insurance that a hunter might need.

DEPOSITS

• 50% of the total daily rate is required to confirm a booking

• Only Cash, Bank certified cheques or Travellers cheques will be accepted as payment

• No refund of deposits will be made if the hunt is cancelled 60 days prior to the hunt unless the space can be re-booked. 20% of the paid deposit will be used for administration fees after the 60 day expiration date.
